I saw a photo of Zayn with a young disabled boy the other day and it got me thinking. Those boys really are amazing. Some (im NOT saying all) teenage boys and girls could be somewhat afraid of meeting say a disabled or ill child (or fan). Not because they have anything against them, just because sometimes thats what happens. But the 1D boys (as well as many other celebrities I must add) treat every fan exactly the same, and make time to take photo with everyone. These people can’t fight to get to the boys like other fans do, yet they still get their photo, autograph and chat with the boys just like everyone else. It would be so easy for them just to leave but they don’t, they make everyone feel just as special. They’ve worked with Ray of Sunshine and at signings they make time to have photos with those who can’t necessarily walk round to the table to see them. I’m not saying we should treat anyone any differently, or that the boys would think of doing that. It’s just nice to see how the boys react and how comfortable they are around everyone in a society that today teenagers are labelled with the attitude that if you’re not ‘normal’ or don’t fit in, you’re not accepted. It’s refreshing :)
